Rona on Grey, Maida Hatter’s Aspen Bars

Did you know you can write on the
inside of an Alter Eco wrapper?

Tipped in this wrapper…. things we miss!
Then I could also use it as a painting surface!

These bars are almost too sweet for me.
Butter toffee rich oaty things.

Maida Hatter was a world class baker —
this is her recipe for Aspen Oatmeal Bars,
NO FLOUR!
Though I added nuts.  chopped almonds in one, walnuts in another.
they’d be food with pepitas in them too!

Like Candy!

Turn up John and rock!
