It is true that Mitchell and I both live with the knowledge of being guided by an
unseen hand. We’ve both been “taken are of” most of our lives.
Love this Thomas Merton quote though I edited it a bit. Here it is in its entirety:
“My Lord, I have no idea where I am going.
I do not see the road ahead of me.
I cannot know for certain where it will end.
Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think that I am following
your will does not mean that I am actually doing so.
But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you.
And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing.
I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire.
And I know that if I do this you will lead me by the right road,
though I may know nothing about it.
Therefore will I trust you always, though I may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. I will not fear, for you are ever with me,
and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.”

Stepping off into uncharted territory, trying my hand at abstract with a bit of teabag art.

I love your tea bag abstract. I would try tea bag art but I don’t like hot tea. I’m a Southern girl. Tea must have ice and sugar in it.

When you make your tea, do you use bags or powdered? When I do ice tea, I put a bunch of teabags into a big jar in the sun…

The teabag art is very cool! I had a crack at teabag art once and did not get very far at all. I found the teabags just ripped to pieces so I didn’t even get as far as gathering my raw materials. I am, therefore, very impressed by what you have achieved here.

I tried drying them hung up (of course my family loves the line of drying bags in the kitchen), then gently opening them. Works better than what I used to d, which was to open them while wet.
