Note: I am writing a story/journal that I don’t want to show before it is published in full. These are some of the illustrated pages in the sketchbook for the story.
Shellacking an oak table in the first finish room; a selfie.

This piece was created in conjunction with
30 paintings in 30 days, keeping me moving on my book!
Moleskin 8×11 watercolor journal. Materials used: Pentalic HB woodless pencil;
Pilot Parallel pen and Platinum Carbon pen, many inks, including Platinum Carbon black and Noodler’s inks; Greenleaf & Blueberry, QoR, Holbein and Daniel Smith watercolors.

may be reposted; please link back to dkatiepowellart.
I love the original version of “the selfie”!
