Jinhao: Inexpensive Pens

jinhao pensI wanted to like them, I really did.
They are inexpensive, they are Japanese.
I thought they might be like the Platinum Preppie pens,
which are inexpensive, hold a good deal of ink,
and will go for MILES without clogging or being fussy.

I have to say that I can’t say anything good about them.
I bought several through eBay, from two different sources.
NOT ONE will write for a day without seriously clogging.
I’ve tried De Artramentis Document ink, Super5 ink, and finally Noodlers ink.

CLOG CLOG CLOG.
Into the trash they go.

More Preppies on the way.
I can fill them with fun inks, and I have one pen I just picked up after maybe two months of no use.  Heart of Darkness black ink flowed across the page . . .

I hate that! And it’s more hassle to return stuff like this than it is to lose the money. My big ‘nit’ is buying colored Pigma Microns that were dried out. No way to tell when you purchase them !!
