The Virtual Sketchwalk group on Facebook explored New Caledonia
in October with wonderful images from Aniko Szedlak (pic below)!
They are a balm to this beach-loving gurl’s soul.
I’d like to be there NOW!
I love all the greens!
I put Sap Green and Leaf Green and
Diopside Green and Serpentine (all Daniel Smith)
on my palette and then mixed for each area.
Added a little red to the green to get a burgundy for some of the leaves.
Very fast sketch, and what took long was letting the colors dry.
