I have so many pages in my journal now of just writing, no images…
Pages of fears, worries, losses, upsets.
Sometimes I jot down a good recipe…
It is a little hard to share the journal pages, but I finally decided to share them —
I know that others must be feeling this way and
hope it will calm you down to know that someone else is freaking out!
I am so attracted to blue inks right now… And bright orange!

That annoying loud-mouth editor/critic in your head? GONE! How great would that be?
Hi Kate, you’re not alone, reading your journals felt good in a weird way, your worries, fears, sadness, brain shutting down, creativity loosing it’s sparkle, even the nightmares, it all sounds too familiar. All we can do is hang in there. Out here in the Netherlands next week the pubs and shops will open with restrictions, and the curfew will end, even though the hospitals are leanings towards code black during this third wave. I don’t feel save walking outside but my body and brain needs it, it feels like war with an invisible enemy. Take care, hugs, Shirley
So good to hear it was of some use…. Putting one’s raw writing out there is always a risk.
I went out for the first time last week to a showroom, and I have been vaccinated…
But I was still uncomfortable, and their “mask compliance” was that they popped their masks on when I was near them.
I guess they don’t understand that it hangs about in the air. So I am back to going no where indoors again.
