View of the Larrabee State Park, near Bellingham, WA,
from a photo by “Complicated” on Flickr.
Doodling in keeping my commitment to a sketch a day, with
a Conklin Duragraph w/ 1.1 Stub with Super5 Australia ink.
This one started as a doodle… but I just kept adding ink… then watercolors!
The Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketchbook isn’t quite meant for several layers of watercolor —
though it held up well. No pilling. The thing is, that watercolor paper helps the process, whereas non-watercolor paper, even if it can take the wet, doesn’t accept them as well.
Middle of the night, and I thank “Complicated” and all the photographers who
allow use of their images for non-commercial applications, like this one!
