Akkerman all the way from THE Hague!

Yes, they call it “THE Hague”… who knew?

I did a favor for a friend and she sent me a thank-you gift.
A totally cool and beautiful thank-you gift with some silly surprises in it.

I swear to goddess it was the thought that she thought of me
while doing this that made me gooey inside…
however, the lovely bottle of Akkerman Delft Blue ink didn’t hurt!
These bottles with the tilty marble are a fascination!

For now, it is in a blue Jinhao Shark, chomping its way around my other pens!

Oh, and I can’t forget — a sample of Mabel Dodd Blackbird “Puffin” ink was also cool —
It is amazing ink and now I am going to have to try her inks beyond samples!

How sweet! Do you know that when someone tells me they saw a turtle, or bird, or sloth, and thought of me that it is the the best mind of compliment or gift I can imagine? I totally get that.
