Ink as watercolor, in this case Robert Oster African Gold.
I think I can stretch this World Watercolor Month to include this ink painting
on Hahnemühle Cold Pressed Post Cards.
This squatty body is such a joy to paint!

That annoying loud-mouth editor/critic in your head? GONE! How great would that be?
‘squatty body’….adorable. I love our pelicans. I do like the ink, Kate.
My mom taught me a lot ab out the environment with the pelican, as they were becoming extinct due to the use of DDT… Oddly, California has just gone back in time and started using it again. People are sooooooo stupid.
Lovely work. I am sure the rules are more guidelines. I use ink and watercolour pretty interchangeably.
Me too… but a watercolor manufacturer might see tht differently!
