Doing ritual here… memories of my mom’s house.
This leaf and straw goddess was a gift from me when she moved to Ashland Oregon
It has survived all her moves and now lives in my finish room.
Objects hold a lot of memories… good and bad!
By writing and drawing I am putting it all straight,
the complicated relationship of mother and daughter.
Somehow the memories and the connection are integrated
into a wholeness and possibly healing presence when I draw and write them.
I’ve been printing and sending her my blog posts, but not this one.
Thankfully she doesn’t go online and never found my blog.
