My passions are journaling, painting, reading autobiographies and Buddhism,
ditzing with Mitchell, and playing with the kittens.
NOT necessarily in that order, though if I had to choose
between writing or painting, I’d choose writing.

I now am back to making journals just for me, no watercolor lessons, and so I write a lot in the Hahnemühle Nostalgie Sketchbook.  Memories, bitching, great quotes, spiritual thoughts, whatever.  It is not s pricey as the watercolor journal, and the paper takes a lot of watercolor.  What I do for the one problem —
what happens to a painted page if you the other side too wet — is I glue wax paper in between really nice pages.

If you don’t and you slop a ton of water, you may move a painting…

I made this lovely fast page, again when sick — and waited for a quote.

Finally another quote decided to fill that space.

I don’t know how people who don’t make stuff lift up their Soul!
