Maybe I should stay away from portraits altogether.
For one thing, they HAVE to look like the person or they are just crap!
So personal! However, I post them all, good bad or the worst.
I reworked this bad sketch until the only thing left to do was to cover the page in black ink.

To be honest it is not baaad. I liked it. The black and the pink is looking beautiful. And by saying that you post all you good and bad one ‘s, you gave me a confidence to post my bad ones as well. I wasn’t confident about them but now I will post them in future surely. So thank you.

Yes, I think posting all is good. I’m a teacher, and one thing about people learning is that they get discouraged when all they see is the best of the best. This is exactly to encourage! Liked your palm tree drawing!
