My steps, from line to ink (grisaille and brunaille) to watercolor:
Watercolor papers, with a Pentalic HB woodless pencil,
Noodler’s Lexington Grey Ink, Super5 Frankfurt (Amazon when they have it or buy from Europe), De Atramentis Document Brown ink,
Platinum Carbon Pen with Platinum Carbon ink waterproof cartridges,
Platinum Japanese Art Pocket Brush Pen,
Sennelier, Holbein, and DS Primatek watercolors, and Daniel Smith Watercolors.

I realized that I hadn’t commented out here. I’ve been trying to hide my steps, in case my wife sees responses to comments or likes and wonders why people are talking about squirrels. I think this came out very nice. I can’t imagine how hard this was. These little guys are even hard to photograph.
