Okay, despite my annoyance with
Pentalic Aqua journals, it is what I have until
sixty pages are used up! (I will tell you if my bugging them a second time gets their attention!
While I am working on the pieces for
Restore Oregon, I played with this lovely bowl of fruits and veggies. Watercolors demand so
much patience (which I have little of) because of drying time, and summer is so beautiful in its produce colors! I am using a large brush to keep it loose, and colors ran several times… Okay! Also, I am working fast because I am busy!
But what do you do when your husband
eats your red tomato for breakfast?
Under-painting — the yellow is a bit brighter than shown….
Messy messy, greens and then they ran into the basket….
Came in with deeper colors in the basket, and then, of course,
the final colors on the peppers and warm-colored tomatoes.
Always organic; it matters!

That looks delicious. Somehow, I like it better than the photo.
