French for yumm, yummmm! Yes!! 🙂
I’ve been a student of French for a very long time so this is what comes to my mind first. I just wish all these years of French had made me fluent in the language. Alas, I am not. Next to Chinese and Portuguese I do think French is right up there in the hardest language to Master category! I can’t tell you English is b/c it’s the only language I am fluent in…but when typing it…it’s questionable if I’m fluent. Mom was right. I did need to retake typing 101! I leave out words all the time!
Who knew in 197o that we’d all be typing on personal and work computer keyboards? Really who but the Geeks knew? I was even working in Silicon Valley then, and was just introduced to the computer for the office then. I had no clue where we’d be now!!
I’m eating crow.
I replied with a smartass 14 year old know it all retort. I’ll have secretary type for me. See me (Shaking my bowed head).
Mom was right about my typing! Mom’s are always right!
The French know wine, cheese, and how to grow organic crops to feed a nation! Their country and language are gorgeous. Yeah, I’m a student of some of their culture.
I’m convinced that Geeks are going to Rule the World!

No, not too late! I hope you two take it up and become as fluent as you want to be, and have many fun and interesting trips to French speaking countries! 🙂
