I have these odd things of my grandmothers.
Her dime bank, and this, her coin purse.
She was a simple woman and the simple items
I have from her are precious memories.

and Sennelier, Holbein and Daniel Smith watercolors.

Lovely! I also have my great grandmother’s coun purse. My Mom used to tell me how she went to town every Saturday with her coins to shop. Sweet memories.

That is the truth. During the depression they were lucky; my grandfather has a job with the city and they had acreage to grow food.
