VSW: Capetown South Africa Beachwalk, 1

W16 5 7 VSW CAPETOWN 003I haven’t much time this week.
Necessity is making my goal for this sketchwalk
to capture the essence of the view, let go of details.
What stands out about the view?
the buildings? the beach? the sky? the mountain?
Capture that, leave the rest!

and add color to make them pop!

I started a Facebook group page (you must join to view) to allow everyone to share their virtual sketches, and also where we will, from time to time, take virtual sketch walks together.  Come join us On Facebook if you are inclined!
If you want to know more about what a virtual sketchwalk is review my first post.
There are a few more notes/pointers on our first walk through Laguna Beach, California.

I also created an accompanying Flickr group!

I could sit and stare at these for more time than it took you to draw them. I’m not sure what to make of that – nicely done Kate!
