Fountain Pen Day! (Late)

Happy Fountain Pen Day!

(Okay it was November 6th, but this Goulet video was not out then.
If it doesn’t load, click.  This video is for crazy people who love pens, or want to.)

The thing is, not wanting to fill the trash with plastic made me
look at different pens and that got me looking at inexpensive drawing pens,
and the pens got me into the inks,
and now I am trying to figure out how to paint with the inks (bottom).
I tend to like simpler pens.

2015-11My favorite pens are Platinum Carbon Pen (best pen ever), Pilot Parallel
(have three filled with black and brown and green), Platinum Preppie (have them filled with several colors ink so
I can quickly change them up), and the Ahab (two, with Goulet calligraphy nibs).
I have the Ink Drop coming now, so I am going to be painting with samples!

(Thanks for my B-day present hunny-bunny!)

Everyone who loves Super5 ink should write to Goulet,
BTW, and ask them to carry it again.
Yes I am starting a campaign…

    • What have you been up to? Haven’t seen a post from you in awhile gurl. How is your husband?

He is doing great – he’s worked very hard on his PT and getting strength back. Graduated from walker to cane and now on his own but still tires easily. I’ve been pretty tied up schlepping pillows, ice, etc. and cooking.

I don’t know if/when I’ll blog again. It’s low on my list for now – I am doing lots of notebook writing and art stuff but don’t feel like sitting at computer to post stuff into WP. All is good 😊

        • I’ll miss you but I understand. You’ll come back when you are ready. I am so glad he is doing well — doing your PT makes all the difference, as my own mother attest, having hip surgery then a heart valve replacement in her late 80’s. I will look for a FB posting to see what’s up if you are up for that.
