Today I created my first brush drawing, wonky, clean and lovely.
Five minutes, done, no attempt to brush over, single strokes.
Very exciting for me, so I had to share.
This one is in my lojong journal. By the time I complete the drawing I
will have journal notes for my ongoing commentary on my practice.

Very nice! I started using brush pens last year and now I can’t be without them. I actually tried one a few years ago and didn’t feel like I had enough control with it. This time has been entirely different. I suppose I didn’t give myself enough time to get to know it.
Also, I probably won’t do my Forestry Friday post this week, again. I have too many other commitments and I want to give it the time it deserves. I haven’t forgotten.

Thanks Tim. I am posting some links you will love on your “about” page. This month I have met some unlikely “freinds” through art — it is very exciting. One is a reporter for the Washington post and another is you! And write it as you can — I’ve subscribed . . .

Thank you so much Katie. We may never be able to agree on everything, but we still have much in common. As long as we can talk about the rest, it’s all good.

Yes. Opening my heart and working through things is much better. If only we could get the dems and repubs to do the same. I remember when it was once that way.

Yes, I agree. Too much time spent on empowering and not enough on doing the right thing. They certainly can find some common ground.
