Love the poppy’s heads before they bloom, as if bowed in prayer.
I don’t feel I did the delicate papery petals justice…
I should have chose a more transparent watercolor pigment..
I had expert help writing my quote alongside the image from Savitri,
who obviously felt I had spent enough time drawing in bed that night,
and continually rubbed and tried to catch my pen!
