30 Posies: Yellow Daisies

Maybe these are Black-eyed Susans?
I liked the image of the sunny daisies!

Started with a good line drawing….

Background and first layers…

Final touches.

Okay, the leaves bother me but
here I am dealing with the paper in this Hand-Book Watercolor journal.
It is not the best watercolor paper, though it is thick enough.
You can easily get to a place where the watercolor is globbing on,
for lack of a better way to describe it,
and you can’t lift it off without it leaving this odd trail…
and I felt the same way about the second layer of the background.
I didn’t like working it.
No more Hand-Book Watercolor journals for me!
