Parker Ponies

The little Parker Ponies are set on the table as if they racing.
I see these wooden horses in movement in my imagination all the time, and what they might have been like in their glory!

I’m sitting next to
Anya Toomre (Washington artist and art teacher) and
we are chatting with Mitchell… that conversation,
of circuses, our growing ups, family, changes…
is burned into my memory through this sketch!
