Business trip to Spokane Washington and my overriding memory will be cold to the bones and good people and good food. WHIRLWIND, long days.
I was so frozen we climbed into our not-very-good bed upon walking in the door and kept our fingers under covers to get warm. Shivering. All that. So not much drawing.
AND WOULDN’T YOU KNOW I TOOK ALL MY SKETCHING GEAR???
Can’t recommend the Hotel Ruby. Teeny room, soft mattress, hard pillows.
Bad breakfast and the worst, NO COFFEE POT IN THE ROOM.
I so wanted to like it as it has bright red walls and original local art…
Tip-in over drawing.
Drawings 3 +4… Not in order of execution.

Oh my travel-writing friend, you would have nailed this hotel on bad bed, no hot water pot, no heater in the bathroom, and on and on….
But I liked the red wall… Though some might have had trouble sleeping next to such a wall!

I have experienced such hotels where facilities suck so I completely understand your state of mind. I don’t write bad reviews about them, but I don’t recommend them either.

I don’t usually write a bad review unless there is a negative altercation….
