Bleeding Hearts

W16 7 15 PENTALIC BLEEDING HEARTS 02

Bleeding Hearts

As of today this reminds me not only of family,
but of this incredibly awful political season and the vitriol
among people on the “same side.”
I am told I am a bleedin’ heart liberal.
I wear it proudly.

And, I am shocked at how much Opera Pink and Quin pink I am using.
Choosing to paint flowers certainly changes one’s palette!W16 7 15 PENTALIC BLEEDING HEARTS 01 SQ

  1. Very nice. Really like the loose style. I am seeing a lot these by the roadside.

I love that you speak about politics! I don’t really have it in me, on my art blog, lol

I think this season has been a disgrace – I spent the past 3 months phonebanking for Bernie, and we all saw where that went. By now I have basically washed my hands off the whole mess.

anyway sorry for the tangent LOL love your drawing! Pink is fabulous and also I really like the handwriting, actually
