Bleeding Hearts
As of today this reminds me not only of family,
but of this incredibly awful political season and the vitriol
among people on the “same side.”
I am told I am a bleedin’ heart liberal.
I wear it proudly.
And, I am shocked at how much Opera Pink and Quin pink I am using.
Choosing to paint flowers certainly changes one’s palette!

I think this season has been a disgrace – I spent the past 3 months phonebanking for Bernie, and we all saw where that went. By now I have basically washed my hands off the whole mess.

It has been a hard season, and I have actually lost left-wing friends which is nutty. The whole thing is nutty and I think we’ve woken in an alternate universe.
