I tried this earlier but was not happy with the result, right, and decided to try it again. I am happier with this one. She is difficult to capture — black, but not, and suspicious! I still used the Masking Fluid, but used them skillfully, by layering. Who knew watercolors, those very “zen” paints, had to be so thought out? I limited my colors a bit more, used Primatek Yavapai for the moody brown blanket.

I love your cat’s name. I can just see her pulling the blanket to her with her claws.

Kamala means lotus or light red, and is another name for the goddess Lakshmi. She loves the smell of good wool!
