(Note: I am writing a journal that I don’t want to show before it is published in full.
I realized I can simply share some of the images without the writing;
These are a few blank pages that will be written on eventually!)

NW neighborhood,
walking through the beginning of fall colors.

The Monkey-Ward building, now Montgomery Park.

These ridiculous roundabouts make for pretty planters.
They’ve taken an idea that works in big cities with BIG roundabouts and put them in impossibly tight two-lanes where you almost have to go into the cross walks to use them. One of the worst things about Oregon is that they do not do traffic well.
Moleskin 8×11 watercolor journal. Moleskin materials used Pentalic HB woodless pencil,
Sheaffer calligraphy pen, Pilot Parallel pen, and Platinum Carbon pen, many inks,
the most obvious being De Artramentis Document, Super5 or Noodler’s inks,
Greenleaf & Blueberry, QoR, Holbien and and Daniel Smith watercolors.

may be reposted; please link back to dkatiepowellart.

Does ANY state traffic well ?? Constant construction gives an illusion that improved travel will result, but that’s rarely the case !
I love your autumn colors in these paintings. Wonderful snippets. When will this project be ready for prime time viewing ?? (No pressure, of course!!)
