Hood River Strawberries


Summertime in Oregon is announced when the Hood Rivers are ripe.
They have a burst of the sweetest flavor, and they are gone too quickly!

I missed the official Solstice since it came on the 20th this year —
But Happy Solstice a day later!  Hard to believe!

    The Hood strawberries sound delicious. The season here is not going to be good as we’ve had too much rain. My co-worker bought some from a farmer today and they were not very sweet. Guess I will wait for the raspberries…
