An image from the Virtual Sketchwalk group
(gads I cannot remember whose someone remind me and I will correct)
done in mostly ink. I tried to work wet-on-wet with the inks, so they moved a bit…
I pulled the inks off the tips of my fountain pens and placed them into water. I added a bit of color at the end because I didn’t have enough inks with me to play the colors deeply.
Pentalic Aqua Journal, Platinum Carbon pen with De Atramentis Document Brown ink;
KWZ Foggy Green, Diamine Blue, and Super5 inks; Daniel Smith watercolors.
I started a Facebook group page (you must join to view) to allow everyone to share their virtual sketches, and also where we will, from time to time, take virtual sketch walks together. Come join us On Facebook if you are inclined!
If you want to know more about what a virtual sketchwalk is review my first post.
There are a few more notes/pointers on our first walk through Laguna Beach, California.
I also created an accompanying Flickr group!
