World Watercolor Month: Himalayan Poppy

Fell in love with the paper-thin petals in the soft blue;
I’ve not seen this flower before.
Painted from an image from a friend.

For these watercolor posies I am trying out a new book (to me) from Hand-Book,
one of their watercolor journals.  I was given two of them.
So far I like them, and will review eventually.

    Hmmm. I am pretty good with flowers so was curious about this little beauty. It looked like it had some poppy in it. What do you think: https://www.gardenia.net/plant/meconopsis-betonicifolia
