I journal mornings with stream of consciousness exercises,
and participate in Linda Hill’s Stream of Consciousness Saturday whenever I have time. I write to a timer, 15-20 minutes, no editing except spelling, and of course I add my art! You can join us! The Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “spot.” Write about the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word “spot.”
Spot is a dog but never a cat… cats have spots so why not name one spot?
Are they too dignified? Not flooppie enough?
Do they run away to be named elsewhere by people who know?
I’ve named lots of cats one syllable name — Sam, Toes, Jai —
but never looked at one of my Tuxies and said, “Spot!”
OMIGODDESS, UPDATE EDIT!
Thanks to willowdot21 for this one!

We have a dog named Spot. You’ve got me thinking naming a tuxedo kitty would be oh so sure.
