When the world goes mad
and I have a cold,
I cook… soups, stews,
hearty meals that
clear the senses.
Chopping allows me to
release my frustrations.
My red Polish enamel
pot cheers me; I had one just like it in my first apartment.
This one was a
veggie-heavy chili-peppery warming stew.
Mitchell made corn
bread with chili peppers
and hot butter yum….
BTW, our meat, when we have it, is Certified Humane and
as organic as it can be — because grass fed can’t be seen as organic.
Costs more, we eat way less meat than we used to, and it goes a lot farther.
