Mom’s Stuff: Soup Tureen

A family piece, probably from my grandma Hoyt.
Hoyt Street in San Fernando is named after our family…
It is where Grandma Hoyt’s home and acreage existed long before I arrived.
Many generations Californians.

The tureen is not my style, but lovely non-the-less…

  2. I have Hoyt family via marriage. There are a lot of the them. 😊

I’m going to commit to painting once a week for World Watercolor Month. I don’t feel like I will be able to keep the daily pace. I have no doubt you’ll be a complete success since you paint everyday now.

My tureen is basic white, but I do admire the decorative ones. How special that you have your Grandmother’s.
