December we had two choices in the Virtual Sketchwalk group
*though this group goes rogue regularly 🙂
but the rules of the group are “as long as it is drawn from a photograph”*
and one of them were the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
*the other was any holiday ornament or accoutrement from any tradition*
A challenge even for me, with lots of circles and ellipses and wild tree structures.
I loved it! I still have deadlines and so had to move quickly —
30 minutes was my goal.
There is a catwalk in the sky that winds round these trees.
I would love to go, just to play around in this area…
*and shop for watercolors, pens, and journals*
Before the end of the month I hope to do one with watercolor only and time it… .

I started a Facebook group page (you must join to view) to allow everyone to share their virtual sketches, and also where we will, from time to time, take virtual sketch walks together. Come join us On Facebook if you are inclined!
If you want to know more about what a virtual sketchwalk is review my first post.
There are a few more notes/pointers on our first walk through Laguna Beach, California.
I also created an accompanying Flickr group!

That annoying loud-mouth editor/critic in your head? GONE! How great would that be?
I really like the drawings, Katie. With the white of snow outside my window, it’s nice to look at something green!
