Finished Fabriano Journal

I’ve not liked the A4 Fabriano Journal.
On the upside, the company was responsive to my issues.
They sent me replacements, but I think the paper is just not up to snuff.
It pills easily, and the color sits on top so if I forget to wash the paper first
(risky when it pills) then the washes are also weird.

I’ve had this journal for two years!
Took me forever because I’d reach for any other journal.
Thanks to NaSkeFiMo friends for the encouragement.

But it is done!  Yay!  On to Hahnemuhle and Moleskins…

  2. I’m glad you’ve finished with this pesky journal and can focus on a different one. That said, I’ve enjoyed the art you did in the Fabriano!

  3. It really does make a different with paper. I recently bought some paper I thought would be good and I am not happy with it at all. As always love your art.

  6. it’s so difficult to own art supplies that you DON’T like but because you spent good money on them you also don’t want to just chuck them! Good for you for finishing! Merry Christmas my friend.

    • Usually if I have supplies I don’t like I pass them on to kids I know, but I had started this one with some decent drawing days and was bummed so I finished. The rest will be passed on at some point…
      Merry merry to you too!
