Sammy is not a happy cat, because I am in bed alone
with him and he lives for his daddy. Lives. For. Daddy.
Having to catch that expression so very fast!
Scowling face, and he wears it so well!
I think I may like the pen sketch best on this one.
What do you think?
WAIT! Unsatisfied, I went in with a stub nib
and added fat black lines!
I like him now…. Yay!

That annoying loud-mouth editor/critic in your head? GONE! How great would that be?
I love you Kate!❤️️
You too… I wish I’d been able to make that lunch! I miss you on FB!
When I looked at this quickly on my phone, I thought it said, ‘Sammy Initiated” and I thought he had gotten a little kitten!
You will NEVER believe that Oregon has done such a god job with their spay/neuter program that they do not have kittens!!!!! They are coming in from New Mexico and elsewhere! Can you believe? As they is likely to be our last kittens (we would get older cats as we get older) we are waiting…. IMpatiently!
What?! Impressive, Katie. But a little sad for you and Sammy.
Little bit… I miss having a buddy cat.
ha! Yes, if looks could wither those unwanted persons into some fascimile of the desired loved one, they would.
Oh yesh, he tries!

You certainly caught the scowling face. I think I can see the end of his tail twitching in discontent, too.
Oh yes, all that.
Bought a dog last weekend and will draw him tomorrow
Thank you… I’m watching for him!
Very cute. You did a great job of showing his emotions.
Haha! I know that look in the eyes! 😀 Such a vivid sketch, and I love both the sketch and the painting!
Thank you! I visited your blog, love the princess and the cat. It rejected my posts — so decided to say it here!
